Ashwini Kumar Dubey is a third-year Ph.D. student at the Colorado Power Electronics Center (CoPEC), University of Colorado Boulder. He is currently working on the design and control of a high-power-density, high-efficiency composite converter for electric vehicle applications. He received his M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), India, in 2023. Prior to beginning his graduate studies, he worked for five years at the Steel Authority of India Limited, where he was involved in the operation and maintenance of industrial electrical systems. His research interests include the design, modeling, and digital control of power converters, as well as the design of high-frequency magnetic components for power electronic converters.
