Pramod Apte received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India in 2016 and the M.Sc. degree in electrical power engineering from RWTH Aachen, Germany in 2020. He was also an exchange student to ETH Zürich where he completed his Master thesis. In August 2020, he joined the Institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics (IAL), Leibniz Universität, Hannover, Germany as a research associate. Since August 2023, he is a research associate at the University of Kassel, Germany. His research interests include DC/DC power converters and solid-state transformers based on wide band-gap power semiconductors.
