Roberto Bellapianta was born in Genoa ,Italy, in 2000. He received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from University of Genova, Genoa, Italy, in 2023 and 2025, respectively. He is currently a Research Assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. His master’s thesis, conducted at KIT, focused on the development and real-time validation of a supercapacitor-based control algorithm for grid frequency support. His research interests include power systems, grid frequency control, energy storage systems, and advanced control strategies.
