STSM – Power Technology and Qualification
Eric is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been working in the power technology field for 37 years. Eric is currently a member of IBM’s Senior Technical Staff responsible for new technology used and the qualification of assemblies in the power subsystem. Eric holds 24 patents in the battery and power technology fields. His current interest includes the development of common form factor power supplies, battery packs, and VRMs that can be used across multiple platforms and the introduction of GaN technologies into power systems utilized by IBM.
