Yunting Liu (Senior Member, IEEE) received her B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2013, and her Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, Michigan, USA, in 2019. In August 2022, she joined The Pennsylvania State University as an Assistant Professor. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor at Michigan Technological University from 2021 to 2022 and as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 2019 to 2021. Her research focuses on multilevel converters, converter design, control, and their interfaces with renewable and distributed energy resources. Currently, she is an associate editor for the IEEE Open Access Journal of Power and Energy and IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics on Power Electronics.
