Sabrina R. Helbig is a Ph.D. student and Graduate Student Researcher in the Electric Power Technologies Lab (EPTL) at the University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA, USA), where she also received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering in 2020 and 2023, respectively. Throughout her academic career, she has worked with Sandia National Laboratories, Powerex, the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU APL), Eaton, and Westinghouse Nuclear, and she has previously researched in conjunction with the NSF Center for Space, High-Performance, and Resilient Computing (SHREC). Sabrina’s research interests include design, control, and testing of power electronics for grid applications, as well as wide bandgap semiconductor devices.
