Dr. Haiguo Li received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2014 and 2017, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA, in 2022. After completing his Ph.D., he served as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Tennessee. In late 2022, he joined ABB as a Power Electronics Scientist in Raleigh, NC, USA. Since 2024, he has been with Delta Electronics as a Member of R&D Staff in Raleigh, NC, USA. His research interests include wide-bandgap devices, medium-voltage and high-power solid-state transformers, DC distribution systems, grid-forming inverters, AC integrations of power electronics converters, and AC/DC microgrids.
