Subhransu Satpathy (Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, in 2013, the M.S. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, in 2024, all in electrical engineering. From 2017 to 2019, he was with Eaton India Innovation Center, Pune, India. He is currently an Application Engineer with the HVP-HVDC team, Texas Instruments Inc., Dallas, TX, USA. His research interests include GaN-based power converter design, dc–dc/dc–ac power conversion topologies, PWM techniques, and high-speed electric drives.
