Sandeep Anand received the B.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) Bombay, India, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. He had brief stints at Industry, working previously with Emerson Network Power and Cosmic Circuits Pvt. Ltd.. From 2013 to 2020, he was a faculty member at the I.I.T, Kanpur, India. He is currently a Professor with I.I.T Bombay. He is also the professor-in-charge of the C’72 EV PowerTrain laboratory and group leader for power integration at National Centre for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE).
He works in the area of Power Electronics, wherein his research interests are Electric Vehicles Drive Train and Chargers, Wide Bandgap Devices (GaN and SiC) based Power Converters, Circuits for Interfacing Alternate Sources (Solar PV, Battery, Fuel Cells), and Reliability of Power Electronic Circuits
