University of Arkansas
Yannal Nawafleh received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan, in 2021. Since 2024, he has been pursuing a Ph.D. degree in power electronics at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR, USA. Previously, from 2021 to 2024, he was a Research and Development Hardware Engineer with MARS Robotics. His research focuses on solid-state device–based power system protection, including silicon-carbide (SiC) devices, high-efficiency DC protection architectures, and solid-state circuit breakers for DC distribution. He has authored and coauthored several peer-reviewed journal and conference papers.
