Rene ESCOFFIER , Power device engineer, joined CEA-LETI in 2010 in the Wide Bandgap Device Technology Laboratory. From 1992 to 1998, he worked on device modeling, then joined Motorola until 2004, where he designed structures for integrated circuit protection. From 2004 to 2010, he specialized at Freescale in the design and testing of power devices, from chip level to module integration. He is now a project leader focusing on optimizing power modules in terms of cost and electrical efficiency, and their use in battery-powered vehicles.
