Jiayang Wu received the B.Eng. degree in Electrical Information Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2022. She is currently a Research Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
She was a recipient of the Best Paper Award (Second Place) of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS in 2019 and 2023, the Best Presentation Award at the IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition in 2024, and the Best Paper Awards at the IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics & Applications (ICIEA) and International Zhejiang Power Electronics Conference (ZPEC) in 2025. She serves as a Guest Associate Editor for IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS. Her current research interests include wireless power transfer, battery charging, resonant converters, and renewable energy.
