Brian Ma is a distinguished chair professor in electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research focuses on integrated power electronics, with primary interests on high performance power ICs, WBG/UWBG power device gate driving and reliability, high power density heterogeneous integration and thermal management, and power circuit EMI and security issues. He has authored or coauthored more than 200 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, 5 book and book chapters and given more than 150 invited talks and presentations on these topics. Prof. Ma was a recipient of U.S. National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2009. He also received 12 paper/presentation prize awards from international journals and conferences.
