Giao Huu Thuc (he/him/his)

Giao Huu Thuc received the B.S. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Da Nang, Vietnam, in 2019, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2023. Since February 2025, he has been pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan.
From 2019 to 2020, he was an Engineer with the FPGA Research and Development Department, Hitachi Vantara Corporation, Vietnam, where his work focused on improving and optimizing image recognition and automation algorithms using FPGA. From 2022 to 2023, he was an Intern with the New Technology Department with Everlight Electronics Group, Taiwan. He completed the Co-packaging of PWM and gate driver ICs for the GaN-based converter project successfully. Since July 2023, he has been an Analog IC Design Engineer with Leadtrend Corporation, Taiwan, where his work currently focuses on smart monolithic GaN gate driver ICs.
His current research interests include wide-bandgap AC/DC-DC converters, SiC/GaN gate driver ICs, bidirectional GaN power ICs, and power management ICs.
