Yuzhou Yao received the B.S. degree from the University of Plymouth, Plymouth, U.K., in 2019 and the M.S. degree from The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering with the Center for High Performance Power Electronics, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA.
His research interests include DC/DC converters for lunar surface applications, the evaluation and application of wide-bandgap and ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductor devices, and liquid metal cooling for high-performance electronics.
